Marine Science 2026

This year I got the amazing opportunity to return to the Marine Science program at the Petaluma High School as a chaperone for the class of 2026. Being back with these people and revisiting these locations was absolutely magical and I want to thank Phil Tacata for inviting back this year. I’ve written about my experience in this class when I was a senior in high school, and many of my feeling about this class are still same. I have never learned more in a class and actively sought more information about marine life outside of this class because that’s just the effect this class has on many students, me included. These photos are a collection of the three day trip the class takes to the Monterey Bay Area.
