Marine Science 2023-2024

My senior year of high school I had the amazing opportunity to take a marine science class, taught by Phil Tacata. I never really thought I had a passion for marine science, but after taking this course I fell in love with the ocean and all the life it provides. There are so many things I learned in this class and it is genuinely one of the only classes that I wish I could take again. All of these images were taken during the time that I was a student of Tacata’s. My class had the amazing opportunity to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Año Nuevo. I fell in love with the ocean while taking this class, and I am forever grateful for the amazing people and experiences of that year.
